BRUXELLES – La petizione per i blocco dell’Acta (Accordo internazionale anticontraffazione) sottoscritta da 2,4 milioni di europei e’ stata ritenuta ricevibile in via urgente dalla commissione parlamentare responsabile. Lo ha reso noto il Parlamento europeo. La commissione petizioni, presieduta dall’eurodeputata Erminia Mazzoni (Pdl), ha impiegato meno di un mese ad accogliere la richiesta abbreviando un processo che di solito dura il doppio. 

L’obiettivo e’ accelerare il dibattito parlamentare su Acta.

Il primo confronto sul controverso documento deve avvenire in commissione commercio internazionale: la prossima seduta e’ stata fissata per il 27 marzo. Nella petizione i ricorrenti sottolineano che l’accordo e’ stato negoziato ”in segreto da un piccolo numero di Paesi ricchi e poteri aziendali e istituirebbe un’intesa anticontraffazione che permetterebbe a chi ha interessi privati di sorvegliare tutte le nostre attivita’ online”.

Two days ago  the Spain’s new copyright law ( i.e.Sinde law)  went into effect and immediately it was met with resistance from opponents. The group Hackivistas was quick to organize a rather unique form of protest. They encouraged sites to link to a copyrighted track from the artist Eme Navarro, who’s a member of the music rights group SGAE, but critical of the Sinde law.

Il 13 gennaio 2012 cadranno in pubblico dominio i diritti d’autore sulle opere di James Joyce.

Le opere dell’autore di “Dubliners” “Finnegans”, “Ritratto dell’Artista da giovane” e l’Ulisse,  diventeranno pubblicabili, citabili e rappresentabili senza oneri economici legati al diritto d’autore.

Morto il 13 gennaio 1941, il romanziere irlandese ha rivoluzionato la scrittura dando un contributo decisivo al modernismo letterario, e con Ulisse ha sdoganato l’uso del flusso di coscienza il metodo narrativo nato con le pubblicazioni psicoanalitiche di Sigmund Freud.

Con con il 2012 non ci saranno più restrizioni, neppure per il «Bloomsday», la ricorrenza che cade il 16 giugno, in ricordo di quel giorno del 1904 in cui James Joyce ha ambientato il suo libro più celebre, l’Ulisse, narrazione di una giornata di peripezie di Leopold Bloom in giro per Dublino.

Auguri quindi a James Joyce e a chi eseguirà per primo in pubblico le opere del grande autore!

The “White Paper on copyright and protection of fundamental rights on the Internet “: 125 pages of International Studies, independent research, 500 References, fifteen authors from the world of journalism, business, academic research, the professions, the consumerism coordinated by the jurist Fulvio Sarzana di S.Ippolito.

Tuesday June 14 p.v. from 13 to 14 p.m.  at the Press conference room of the Italian Chamber of Deputies in Rome (the Mission Street entrance 4) will be held the press conference presenting the “White Paper on copyright and protection of fundamental rights on the Internet”  sponsored by the Consumers Associations and digital freedom Association  ADICONSUM, AGORADIGITALE, Altroconsumo, Assonet-Confesercenti ASSOPROVIDER-Confcommercio, and by  Law Firm Sarzana and Partners.

 The press conference will take place immediately after the presentation to Parliament the Annual Report of the President of the Italian Communications Authority, to be held in the morning at 11 am at the hall of Lupa.

At The press conference will be also Sen. Vincenzo Vita , Cultural Heritage Commission Vice-President of Parliament, the Commissioner of Italian Communications Authority Nicola D’Angelo and the Member of parliament  Marco Beltrandi.

The white paper is coordinated by the lawyer Fulvio Sarzana, will be available at the press conference and signed by fifteen authors from the world of journalism, business, academic research, the professions, the consumerism, among which indicate Scialdone Marco, Paolo Brini, Luca Nicotra, Marco Pierani, Mauro Vergari, Stefano Quintarelli, Luca Annunziata, Gaia Botta, Mauro Alovisio, Dino Bortolotto, Giovan Battista Frontera, Giulia Aranguena de la Paz, Research Center for Legal Informatics Turin, Fabrizio Gizzi, and addresses the issue of copyright from the point of view hitherto unexplored, under international studies never made known to the Italian public about copyright and freedom of expression, independent research, data in support of fundamental rights on the Internet, legal and social experiences of cohabitation between the protection of copyright and freedom of expression , and also analyzes the recent initiatives of the Italian Authority for the Communications regarding copyright.
